Guys , a little about myself, your triple CCIE trainer, I started teaching CCIE bootcamps for companies in the US in 2003. I taught CCIE Lab Bootcamps for Trinet NT, Hello Computers, IPExpert and NLI (ccbootcamp).

I also wrote CCIE R/S and Security Workbooks for IPExpert and Trinet NT.
I am currently in the process of setting up partners for CCIE training delivery in India. I am in the process of writing CCIE Workbooks based on the new revisions of the CCIE exams. |

Testing your readiness for the CCIE lab exam
Cisco's Assessor Lab facility
A couple of weeks ago, an interview was conducted with Elaine Lopes, Cisco's CCIE program manager responsible for the exam development process for the CCIE team. At the end of the interview, she mentioned about the CCIE Assessor Lab, a 4-hour practice lab session that students can access via the Web.

CCIE: Talk about a stress test
For most, passing the CCIE lab exam requires studying as many as 1,000 hours and maintaining a laser-like focus that leaves spouses, children and hobbies by the wayside. The lab exam also costs big bucks, with the purchase of workbooks, preparatory courses, racks of Cisco equipment, exam fees and travel reaching as high as $20,000.
