US takes fight against copyright piracy in Asia to its source
American businesses, losing a whopping 250 billion dollars a year to copyright
piracy, are taking the fight against counterfeit goods in Asia to the sources
of production, with China at the frontline of the onslaught. "This is getting
to be a very serious matter," said Thomas Donohue, the president of the US
Chamber of Commerce, which has unveiled an "unprecedented" global initiative to
combat the crime in 2005.

that question. One is Marc Rogers, a behavioral sciences researcher at the
University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada, and a former cyber detective. The
